I Love The Rain

I love the rain. I love the sound it makes, the way it smells, the feel of it when I walk in it.
I really do love the rain. I especially like the way it turns everything green. Being from the Northwest, I miss the rain. It doesn't rain very much here in Northern Virginia. This past week has felt a little like home for me as it has rained for 4 days straight.
Now it is over and the sun has reappeared, the ground is drying out and the bees are buzzing around again.
The kids are eager to get back outside. They have been "bored" because they have been stuck indoors. I have enjoyed the time with them inside. We have made hot chocolate, played games together and have a puzzle half way completed.
Ahhh, I love the rain.
